Blocking turns your hard worked piece into the beautiful garment you'll wear with pride for years.

This one-day workshop will teach you different blocking methods for your swatch and finished object, including wet and steam blocking. We will be blocking different types of swatches (e.g., lace, brioche, rib, stockinette) and yarns (e.g., superwash wool, non-superwash wool, linen) to understand how each might behave differently once they interact with water or steam. Giavanna will also share some of her quick tips to ensure your finished object turns out how you want each time!

Please knit two swatches

Swatch 1: Stockinette stitch swatch 4X4

Swatch 2: A swatch in any pattern (ex., lace, rib, brioche, colorwork, mosaic)

Note: you may use an UNblocked swatch from a previous project for this homework assignment
